Weeks searching, storage seeker shows E.S.S. w/the best price, $108 per/m for 6m. I reserve a week ahead. Days, no word, I call. Conveniently, 2 days before movein, they don't know the site & I have NO reservation, & they REFUSE to honor the price. NOW, it's too late & I must pay $20 MORE than agreed. Other spots HAD better prices but I'm out of time, those prices are gone. E.S.S. threw in a free lock for my trouble. SuPPosed to move in Sun, they're closed. Good thing OTHER probs got us there MON, or I'd be MORE irate by the Following. Drive in to the end, up a ramp & OUT the exit. I see 100s & 300s labeled but NO 200s. 15 min in circles with cust serv, hung up on 2x, NO answ ON SITE. Get thru the 800# but rep advice fails to help. Finally see where the access is - beHind a CODED door. I check all ESS emails. Unit #, gate code, NO door code. Even the (3rd) try, to reserve, no talk of door code. Phone rep says "You'll see Unit #258, access is next to it" It. Doesn't. Exist. He calls the Site, gets instructs to relay, INSTEAD OF her coming up Herself. She's ON SITE. He's not. I call back, since the only way To Her now is to WALK BACK to & down the ramp, & all the way to the Front since I have NO door codes. I'm officially irate. She comes & gets the door open. Glad it was Mon, since the phone reps don't know their own way around. Get into my '10x10' unit, where I expect 10'x10' usage. I see a fat pump protruding from the floor in One corner up the wall, eating up a FAT chunk of space. On the diag corner, a thick metal beam, angled from the ceiling to the floor, MORE of my 10'x10' wasted. NOW, I'm paying More than the price I accepted when I chose E.S.S., cust serv can't help to FIND my unit, no mention of door codes, & NOW, my unit is not actually a 10x10. Are all 10x10s like this or am I paying the same with less useable space? This was a unit long term. Y'all screwed the pooch on That idea.
